TRAINING AND INDUSTRY VISIT
The Training & Placement Office organizes various training and grooming programmes for students which supplement the University Syllabi. The objective is to make the students more employable and enterprising. This includes a regular communication and liaising with Corporates and other consulting trainers and schedule for such kind of trainings in-house or in the trainer’s premises. Special emphasis is laid upon Communication and Soft Skills training. Eminent trainers from the industry are called regularly to groom the students as per industry needs.

Regular Industry Visit by the students to enhance their technical knowledge
Techno India-Batanagar, A unit of Techno India Group, is regularly organising industry interaction by its students to bridge the gap of academia and industry. As a part of the programme, recently on 3rd March-2016, the ECE and EE students visited Budge Budge power plant of CESC. Starting from preparation of the fuel, the power generation, control mechanism and finally distribution to the grid has been experienced by the students. This was organized as a special measure to enhance their employability and required exposure of industrial environment.
In the same tune of quest , the 3rd year ECE and 3rd year CSE students will visit the BSNL’s largest Data Centre at Salt Lake on 29th March-2016.
